- Undertaking design and preparing documentation for electrical systems for a variety of projects across a range of disciplines including future energy, industrial, power systems, generation, distribution, and transmission
- Lead and manage projects from conception to completion
- Conduct feasibility studies and provide technical advice
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions
- Mentor and support junior engineers in their professional development
- Leveraging your background and contacts to develop business and contribute to winning work
- Technical leadership and commercial direction on projects
- Identify business development opportunities and contribute to proposals
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (BEng or equivalent acceptable to Engineers Australia)
- Between 10 & 20 years of experience in Electrical Engineering, that includes future energy, industrial, power systems, generation, distribution, or transmission
- Experience in renewables, power systems and/or instrumentation and control
- Experience with relevant LV/HV design software is desirable
- Strong knowledge and application of relevant Australian codes, standards, and regulations
- Experience in business development and responding to requests for tender
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to determine and solve complex problems
