- Take ownership of the entire quoting process, from initial take-offs to meticulous document preparation.
- Engage with suppliers and contractors at a technical level to ensure accurate project costing and procurement of essential materials and equipment.
- Provide invaluable guidance and support to project teams, ensuring seamless operations and project alignment.
- Act as a liaison between clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, fostering clear communication and collaboration.
- Proactively monitor project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or challenges that may arise, while ensuring strict adherence to regulations, codes, and industry standards.
- Cultivate a safety-oriented culture and advocate for best practices on-site.
- Demonstrated track record with projects ranging from $100k to $5mil in value.
- Thorough understanding of electrical systems and their complexities, with the ability to conceptualize and design technical solutions effectively.
- Hands-on experience in electrical, structured cabling, CCTV, EACS, and AV system design strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in generating accurate quotes and effectively liaising with suppliers and contractors.
- Possession of an Electrical License is preferred, and candidates with Open Cablers accreditation are highly regarded.
- Strong logical and analytical thinking skills are essential, with previous experience in electrical contracting within the Defense Industry being advantageous.
- Australian Citizenship with a current security clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
- Valid National Police Check or willingness to obtain one.
- Possession of a Working With Children Check.
