We have permanent opportunities for an Electrical Fitter Mechanicand aLinesperson or Live Line Linesperson to join our team located in Dalby.
About the roles:
As an Electrical Fitter Mechanic in our team, you will -
- Be trade qualified with a current Queensland Electrical Fitter Mechanic licence.
- Need to have experience in customer service work including customer connections, meter installations and upgrades as well as shock investigations for residential and business customers.
As a Linesperson or Live Line Linesperson in our team, you will:
- Be trade qualified with a current Queensland Electrical Licensing Board Certificate of Competency as an Electrical Linesperson, and/or
- Be trade qualified with a current Queensland Live Line authorisation.
- Be experienced in the construction, maintenance and repair of overhead, high, and low voltage electrical distribution and sub-transmission systems, street lighting mains and customer service lines.
- Perform Live Line methodology on Energy Queensland (Ergon Energy and Energex) networks.
About you:
Critical to your success in the role, is your:
- Demonstrated knowledge of an electricity distribution/transmission system.
- Availability for call out and emergency work.
- Willingness to travel to surrounding areas from time to time to undertake work.
- Current ‘C’ class open Drives Licence.

Remuneration:
- From $97,006 per annum + 12.75% superannuation as an Electrical Fitter Mechanic or Linesperson.
- From $106,607 per annum + 12.75% superannuation as a Live Line Linesperson.
The level of payment will be subject to an assessment of the applicant’s knowledge, skill and competencies required for the position.
