Electrical & Instrumentation Supervisor - Fixed Plant Lithium Mining Project at Liontown Resources

About the Role: Liontown Resources is seeking a dedicated Electrical & Instrumentation Supervisor to join our team at Kathleen Valley Lithium Operation. This role offers an 8/6 FIFO arrangement from Perth and presents an opportunity to lead our electrical maintenance operations with expertise and professionalism.

What the role will look like:

  • Prioritise safety, health, and environmental standards as the cornerstone of all operations.
  • Lead the electrical team in planned and unplanned maintenance activities to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Ensure strict compliance with electrical standards, operating procedures, and work schedules.
  • Collaborate closely with maintenance and production teams, including contractors, to address maintenance requirements and resolve operational challenges.
  • Foster positive working relationships across departments to promote a cohesive work environment.
  • Oversee the integrity of electrical assets and ensure compliance with statutory maintenance and inspection protocols.
  • Effectively communicate electrical incidents and investigation outcomes to relevant stakeholders.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, providing guidance on quality and risk assessments.

To Succeed, what we are looking for:

  • Hold Electrical Trade certification & A grade electrical license.
  • Possess a current Australian C class manual driver's license.
  • Demonstrate a strong track record of safety leadership and field supervision.
  • Deep understanding of Fixed Plant equipment operation, maintenance, and processing plant operations within the mining industry.
  • Proficiency with high voltage, instrumentation, and PLC control systems.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory capacity within Electrical & Instrumentation roles.
  • Familiarity with 1SAP & Fiori systems preferred.
  • Experience in performance management and a commitment to professional development.
  • Prior experience in a mining environment, particularly in a similar capacity.
  • Able to provide a National Police Clearance obtained within 6 months.
  • Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug and Alcohol screen.
