We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer with specialized experience in iron ore fixed plant maintenance to join our dynamic team and contribute to the ongoing success of our operations. As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, your role will be crucial in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of electrical systems within our mining facilities. Specifically, we are looking for candidates with expertise in Variable Speed Drives (VSDs), transformers, and protection relays, as well as a solid understanding of power system analysis. Key Responsibilities Anticipate and proactively resolve potential electrical problems to maintain a zero-harm environment, utilizing technical solutions tailored to iron ore fixed plant operations. Utilize advanced technology and green energy solutions to meet the demands of sustainable mining practices. Implement data analysis, machine learning, and dashboards for predictive maintenance purposes. Manage and execute small to medium-sized electrical projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to industry standards. Design and supervise the installation of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical components into mining equipment, optimizing performance and reliability. Conduct thorough inspections and tests to identify and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the smooth operation of electrical systems within the fixed plant. Qualifications and Experience Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering, Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, with a proven track record in iron ore fixed plant maintenance. Previous project management experience, demonstrating the ability to lead and deliver successful projects on time and within budget. Expertise in conducting root cause analysis investigations to address electrical issues effectively. Demonstrated competency in the use of SAP or similar maintenance management systems.
