Based in Western Sydney, they are seeking a skilled and qualified Maintenance Engineer who is ready to progress into a Maintenance Manager role.
About the role:
You will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of the sites process maintenance, contractor management, engineering, and electrical services. Reporting directly to the State General Manager, you will be responsible for providing technical support on the operation and processing of gamma irradiation sterilisation chambers, setting up predictive maintenance systems, and maintaining the sterilisation plant. Additionally, you will be ensuring the ongoing compliance with relevant legislation and play a role in providing training and education to internal operators, management, and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring consistency of systems and approaches and that company standards adhere to TGA regulations and industry standards.
- Plan, direct, and oversee the installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities and equipment.
- Play a role in developing and implementing business strategies.
- Provide technical support, training, and education to internal operators, management, and customers.
- At all times ensure compliance with OHS Policies and Procedures and all OHS legislative requirements.
The Ideal Candidate:
- A proven background in electrical or technical engineering in equipment maintenance. Experience within medical device or general health care manufacturing desired.
- Knowledge of GMP manufacturing principles.
- Trade qualifications in electrical or related discipline.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Australian Driver’s License
