The role
Reporting into the Electrical Division Manager, you will enjoy working closely with a range of tier 1 electrical contractors who are responsible for the delivery of projects involving pump stations, communication networks, specialist equipment installs for increased production and other Electrical Projects on site. Duties will involve, but not limited to;-
- Preparation of project scopes, project deliverables cost estimates and schedules
- Applying, promoting, and monitoring compliance with the applicable safety management systems, policies, and procedures
- Managing safety and quality aspects of the project in accordance with company procedures
- Cost forecasting with project team support
- Preparation of CER and support through the approvals process
- Provision of information to support tendering and contract award
- Participating in design reviews
- Supervision of contractors on site
Your skills and experience
Whether you have an engineering background or a trades background, we are looking for experienced Electrical Project Managers or Electrical Project Engineers that can hit the ground running, and from that our client will make the role work around you. You will have:
- Electrical Engineering Degree or equivalent
- Australian driver's license
- A track record of success in Electrical Project Management
- Commissioning expertise
- Experience with communication systems and ethernet
- Preference for experience in industrial automation and control
- Proficient use of project document and communications systems (eg TeamBinder)
- Familiarity of NSW mining regulations (highly regarded, not essential)
- Exposure to high voltage (highly regarded, not essential)
