Electrical Service Technician

This is a great opportunity to expand your electrical / renewables career in a supportive team environment. The work will be varied and interesting and covers a range of Battery and Solar projects. Full training will be given.
Your duties will include:
- Commissioning, testing, and programming inverters on site and remotely.
- Troubleshooting and repair of inverters and associated equipment.
- Maintenance of electrical installations,
- Attend and advise on site installations.
- Follow relevant codes and industry standards which govern electrical installation and maintenance.
- Demonstrate aptitude with electrical and mechanical tools.
- Read manuals, drawings, and specifications to ensure correct operation of equipment.
- Understand written information and instructions and correspond clearly and concisely.
- Some administrative tasks
- Other duties as directed.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- strong electrical knowledge and aptitude, hands-on skills, and good problem-solving ability.
- Good communication and customer service skills
- A customer focus and be flexible and attentive to customers' needs.
- A current practicing License as a Registered Electrician.
- Current Drivers licence.
- The ability to work as part of a team.
Ideal applicants will possess a wide skillset, which could include commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, calibration, monitoring and repair of high-power electrical equipment.
AC Drives/Inverter Experience would be an advantage.
Must be prepared to travel to various sites for commissioning, repairs and maintenance.
