The Opportunity
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Electrical Supervisor will be responsible for executing electrical maintenance, technical and breakdown support to ensure the ongoing reliability of equipment and machinery at the Rosehill Manufacturing Plant.
This may include working with electrical and electronic components related to power reticulation, instrumentation, control systems, SCADA systems, HV, PLC
programming, Drives, motors, lighting, electrical panels and circuits as well as safety system circuits.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive a safe behavioural culture and ensure safety compliance for all maintenance tasks
- Undertake electrical maintenance activities to best ensure the long-term reliability of electrical equipment and control systems
- Ensure that best practice maintenance and engineering standards are rigorously applied to tasks and projects that you work on
- Supervise tradesmen on an as-needs basis to ensure that maintenance work is carried out effectively and efficiently
- Assist with day-to-day electrical equipment issues
- Troubleshoot and fault find various electrical equipment issues onsite to provide short machine downtime
- Liaising and working closely with planning and stores personnel to ensure that parts and equipment are available when required to avoid delay and improve task execution
- Working with production and finishing teams to improve communication and interaction between operators and maintenance / engineering personnel.
- Driving continuous improvement in the maintenance department
- Cert. III in Electrotechnology or equivalent
- NSW Electrical Supervisory or Contractors Licence
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role, focus on manufacturing plant machinery and equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and strong analytical skills
- SAP or similar CMMS experience desirable
- Familiarity with Allen Bradley-Studio 5000
- Familiarity with Electrical equipment such as Drives, safety contactors and safety relays
