To support the ongoing improvements within the organisation, an Electrical Supervisor is now required at their flagship Grassdale Feedlot 35-minutes South of Dalby, QLD.

As a newly created role, tasked with leading a team of Electricians, the Electrical Supervisor will provide electrical and instrumentation maintenance across the Feedlot, Cottonseed Oil, and Fertiliser facilities. The role will be responsible for driving continuous improvement, whilst ensuring all electrical maintenance programs are maintained to the industry-leading standard our client has become known for.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role will work between the hours of 5:30am to 3:00pm (Monday to Friday). An on-call roster will be rotated between each Electrician, with associated allowances applied.
Serving as the appointed Qualified Technical Person, your duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Conducting routine maintenance ensuring minimal plant and equipment downtime
- Carrying out fault-finding and diagnostic practices across all production areas
- Managing and overseeing the utilization of required resources
- Coordinating external contractors for various projects
- Providing on-call support, scheduling, and planning when required
About You
With a strong focus on safety, communication, and animal welfare, you will have previous experience in large-scale production maintenance. You will have effective leadership skills, and the ability to oversee performance management and training practices within your team.
To be considered for the role, you must be able to address the following criteria:
- Relevant electrical trade certification
- Knowledge of PLC, SCADA, and other associated instrumentation
- Diagnosis and rectification abilities
- Advanced communication and organisational skills
- Open driver’s licence
- QLD Electrical Licence
- Nominated QTP Holder
