Job description

At Newmont, people create value in the metals we mine and are ambassadors in the communities where they live and work. As a team, we foster an environment supporting our people vision, where everyone belongs, thrives and is valued. We have built a diverse and inclusive workplace where people can bring their differences to support delivering results together.

Newmont Tanami is on Aboriginal freehold land 540km northwest of Alice Springs. It is a long-life, low-cost, world-class asset in a core Newmont region.

The Tanami Expansion 2 project aims to extend the mine life beyond 2040; investing in a hoisting shaft which will increase the production of the underground mine from 2.6 Mtpa to 3.2 Mtpa. The successful exploration of the underground operation and implementation of the first Tanami Expansion has laid the foundation for further development of the operation to remain a major contributor to the Newmont portfolio.

As we continue to expand our team to ensure success in developing our new infrastructure, we are creating new roles to support our operations further.

Join us and unearth your potential in a global company at the forefront of shaping the mining industry's future.

Working an 8:6 roster, you can FIFO from Perth, Brisbane, Alice Springs or Darwin and reside in our fully equipped accommodation village.
