The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team in Henderson to effectively deliver electrical and mechanical estimating and sales services through the professional preparation, competitive pricing and on-time delivery of tenders to maximise the probability of securing profitable switchboard, switchroom and engineered solution contracts. 

 Responsibilities:

• Deliver accurate and timely tenders that are based on appropriate production methods and have adequate resource provisions.
• Use highly developed organisational skills to plan and schedule work to meet designated timelines and outputs. 
• Ensure client satisfaction by clarifying needs to ensure relevance of tenders, including participating in marketing, presentations and negotiations. 
• Communicate regularly and confidently with clients and relevant internal and external stakeholders. 
• Brief the Project Team to ensure that tender's fundamental principles and details are understood and are transferred to the construction phase of projects. 
• Monitor construction industry market trends and opportunities. 
• Innovatively deliver solutions for success of tenders and continuously improve quality through all stages of the process by having detailed knowledge of existing projects. 

Qualifications & Experience:

• Prior experience in Electrical Trade, Electrical Engineering, or Estimating, or a related trade background is essential.
• Strong LV/ MV Electrical experience with an OEM or EPC is desirable.
• Experience in an Estimator background within manufacturing, construction, or similar industries is preferred.
