We are committed to our vision of 'better health services for the people of western Sydney and beyond' and to the delivery of health care or related services in line with our core values of collaboration, openness, respect and empowerment.What you'll be doingThe Electrician performs efficient and compliant reactive maintenance works and planned maintenance activities f or all electrical systems, plant and equipment including mandatory inspections in a cost effective and timely manner .The role provides electrical maintenance services in line with the NSW Health total asset management guidelines, ensuring compliance with statutory, legislative and code requirements including satisfying Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) strategic and business objectives.Benefits of working for Western Sydney Local Health District

Essential Criteria:License: Current NSW Electrical Trade Licence and CertificateElectrical Tradesperson Level 1:Completed Apprenticeship and/or holds relevant trade certificate or equivalent
Electrical Tradesperson Level 2:120 hours of approved courses completed
Electrical Tradesperson Level 3:240 hours of approved courses completed
Electrical Tradesperson Level 4:360 hours of approved courses completedSelection Criteria: * Current NSW Electrical Trade Licence and Certificate

• Demonstrated skill in fault diagnosis and rectification
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal communication skills, which lead to effective relationships with a diverse stakeholder group.
• Demonstrated experience using computer applications such as Microsoft Office and experience in/or exposure to Oracle, and computer maintenance management software including Building Management Systems.
• Experience in the electrical maintenance of systems, plant and equipment which is normally found in health facilities
• Demonstrated knowledge of Work Health and Safety obligations to staff, visitors and patients by being actively involved in the workplace.
• Experience in the maintenance and operation of HVAC plant and equipment, C-Bus lighting systems and PLC.
