The Electrolux Adelaide Manufacturing Cooking Plant is a thriving and innovative example of modern advanced manufacturing in Australia. Encompassing fully automated sheet metal press lines, robot powder coating processes and automated gluing cells all leading to centralised assembly and packing. Consisting of a workforce of more than 400 employees, across three shifts and 40 robots all contributing to making approximately 1,500 ovens per day!
Your Role
As an Electrical Tradesperson you will be responsible for maintaining and maximising the manufacturing plant effectiveness and efficiency by carrying out preventative, scheduled and emergency jobs. Working with our collaborative and passionate manufacturing maintenance and engineering team, you will identify opportunities for factory improvements, downtime reduction, process improvements and data management through our manufacturing processes, including robotics and digital scheduling systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure plant is maintained effectively and efficiently
- Provide technical advice
- Use your problem-solving skills in fault finding
- Carry out scheduled work in an effective and timely manner
- Attend emergency repairs including breakdowns on complex machines like robots, servo drives and conveyors
- Input data using the Computerised Maintenance Management System
- Develop, deliver and implement electrical solutions and improvements
- Comply with WH&S, environmental, quality and energy regulations
- Work within a team environment under minimum supervision

Skills and Qualifications
- An electrical Trade Certificate
- Hold an “A” Class Electrical License
- Knowledge of computer controls systems, PLC's [Siemens & Mitsubishi]
- Interpret drawings and have the ability to diagnose and rectify problems
- Skilled in AutoCAD for drawing updates
- Good understanding of CMMS [Mainpac]
- Have proven knowledge of robotics [ABB will be advantageous]
- Have a good understanding of preventative maintenance techniques
- Demonstrated knowledge of safety systems and pre task plans
- Sound computer knowledge
- Understanding and compliance of WHS, environmental, quality regulations

This is a full-time permanent position be based in Dudley Park SA.
Hourly rate plus super and RDOs [Afternoon shift 15% loading].
