AddressAGL are seeking a dedicated and skilled "A Grade" Electrical Tradesperson to join our team at Eildon power station. Upon joining AGL, you will be trained to become an Operator / Maintainer and after the successful completion of your training, you go on to an "on-call" roster. Under the direction of the Team Leader, you will be responsible for the daily safe and efficient operation and maintenance of our Power Stations and Hydro assets.
Your role will ensure the technical, safety, environmental, and commercial integrity of our assets over their lifecycle, meeting production specifications for plant availability, quality, and the quantity of electricity sold.

- Perform preventative, planned, and breakdown maintenance of assets, including installation and commissioning of plant as required.
- Prepare, receive, monitor, issue, and cancel Access Authorities in accordance with Switching Isolation Certificates, code of practice, and safe work processes.
- Prepare work records and reports, including input into CMMS (SAP).
- Provide and receive on-the-job training, including mentoring employees to maintain high skill levels and safety standards.
- Trade qualification in Electrical fitting (A Grade Electrical)
- Confined Space Training - Preferred but not necessary.
- Cert III in Instrumentation and Control - Desirable but not necessary.
- Understanding of the use, operation, and maintenance of a power station for cost-effective, efficient, reliable, and safe operation.
- Direct experience in maintenance and operation of Power Generation Plant and associated High Voltage electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic infrastructure is desirable.
