Form of workKinetic Logging Services Pty Ltd is a division of Epiroc and a leading supplier of Geophysical Services in Australia, with offices in Perth, Newman and Brisbane.
We have a variety of vehicles that analyse the Geophysical properties of Blast Holes in Pit Production sites and Exploration areas.
We provide a Unique and Flagship service to the Mining Industry called OreSight! OreSight is a Semi Autonomous Vehicle, that operates under one of our Field Engineers to collect Geophysical Data for our clients.
We are seeking an Electrical/Mechatronics Engineerto join our Engineering Team in our Kewdale office on a permanent basis!
Your opportunity:
Design and develop technical solutions for LV, AC and DC systems, whilst identifying and applying technology to resolve electrical and mechatronic challenges!
Key responsibilities:
• Develop technical solutions for electrical and mechatronic systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and calibration of equipment and systems.
• Design software, especially embedded software, to be used within such systems.
• Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions
• Supervise installation and commissioning of electrical/control systems and ensuring proper control and protection methods.
• Establish and monitor performance and safety standards and procedures for operation, modification, maintenance and repair of such systems
• Provide user applications and engineering support and recommendations for new and existing equipment with regard to installation, upgrades and enhancement
• Provide customer support and education, working with users to identify needs, determine sources of problems and to provide information on product use
About you:
The right applicant will be a motivated self-starter, reliable and have excellent communication skills. Being adaptable, resourceful and goal-oriented is crucial!
• University Degree in Engineering - Electrical, Mechatronic or Automation and Control field
• 1-2 years' post graduate experience as Electrical / Mechatronic Engineer
• PLC/SCADA/DCS system design and development
• Experience with various PLC's brands including IFM.
• Experience with Codesys 2.3 and 3.5 applications.
• Practical site experience with electrical and automation and control systems
• Experience with CAD applications
