Electrician

Nqpetro is a major installation, maintenance and service provider to retail/commercial/industrial/mining petroleum customers and associated industries.

In this role you will specialise in Electrical Project Installations, you'll focus on both the commercial (above ground tanks) and retail (petrol stations) sectors within the petroleum industry. In addition to this, you'll receive thorough training in the installation, servicing, and maintenance of various equipment, technology, and infrastructure essential for storing, monitoring, and dispensing petroleum-based fuels. This includes auxiliary equipment such as compressors and tyre inflators, ensuring comprehensive support across all aspects of our operations.

This role is based out of our Canning Vale office and services Metro and Regional WA.

Works include but not limited to:

• Electrical Installation Works 
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance.
• Providing technical support and phone fix solutions.
• Complete inspections and maintain up-to-date paperwork

What we are looking for:

• Electrical Trade Licence
• Strong diagnostic skills and ability to problem solve
• Drivers Licence
• Ability to work unsupervised and to the highest safety standards
• Well-developed time management & prioritisation abilities
• Good Communication skills - interpersonal & organisational  
• Experience in petroleum industry – exposure to working within hazardous zones (desirable)
• Experience working with High-Risk work permitting systems (desirable)
• EEHA / HRW licence / WAH / Confined Space qualifications (desirable)

Full training will be provided to the successful applicant with ongoing support from our Install and service teams in surrounding areas.
