The role:

We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team in Clare.  You will be responsible for carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance on a broad range of electrical installations and instruments, including (but not limited too) high voltage control gear up to 11kV, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s), SCADA, flow, level and temperature transmitters.  You will perform isolations/act as isolation officer and permit holder for high voltage networks and be prepared to travel within the area of operations, be away from home overnight or longer periods and participate in call out and after hour's rosters.

You will bring:

You will be experienced in operational and maintenance of high capacity pumping systems or in a heavy industrial environment.  A highly analytical individual with the proven ability in evaluating situations and providing appropriate solutions. Your solid technical skills in instrumentation, PLC systems, SCADA, solar and communication systems will see you succeed in this role.  You will hold a current Queensland electrical work license supported by the following:

• High Voltage Switching Qualifications or the desire to obtain them
• Class ‘C’ manual drivers licence
• Workplace competencies for confined space, work at heights and elevating work platforms or be prepared to obtain them
• Physically and otherwise capable of working at heights and in confined spaces
