About the role:
ETS are now seeking a Meter Technician Reconnection Officer (MTRO) to deliver Distribution Network Customer Services.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Connection and disconnection of electrical meters
- Other electrical metering activities as directed by the client/contract (testing, auditing, installation, fault finding)
For those that don’t hold the qualification, you will be required to attend an initial 1 week training course and subsequent in field training before commencing (paid training). Working as a Meter Services Electrician with ETS you will take charge of your day and work autonomously.
The position will be servicing Rockhampton and the surrounding area.

To become an ETS Meter Services Electrician you should have:
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Queensland Electrical Workers Licence
- A non-negotiable attitude to Safe Work Practices
- Excellent time management skills
- National Police Clearance or the capability to be obtained.
