As a Commercial or Industrial Electrician, you will have a pivotal role in our projects, installations and service operations. Your responsibilities will include the installation, upkeep, servicing, and repair of various electrical systems for our clients esteemed customers. This position demands practical expertise in new build wiring, switchboards, lighting, fans and power points and a range of electrical systems, coupled with a strong focus on delivering top-notch customer service. The job entails a 38 hour work weeks with 2 hours of overtime a day available and RDO options as well. Compensation consists of an hourly rate based on experience plus 11% superannuation, utility vehicle or vehicle allowance, mobile phone allowance , tablet allowance, fuel coverage and relocation and housing assistance if required. You'll also have the privilege of using the vehicle for some local personal use around the Townsville area. - Conducting installations, upgrades, service and maintenance of lighting and power systems - commercial, industrial, Solar - commercial, industrial, switchboard and metering solutions, power factor correction units - supply for large commercial and industrial factories, network communication and data services, underground infrastructure services.
- Utilizing Simpro for recording and tracking of all work and maintenance activities.
- Liaising with key clients to provide first class services and solutions by being the face of the business and delivering the highest level of quality.
- Adhering to safety, quality, and industry best practices.
- Managing your daily schedule and run efficiently.
- Trade certificate or qualification in Electrical or a 4th Year Apprentice.
- QLD Electrical Licence or similar
- Experience working to best practices and Australian standards.
- Current C Class Drivers Licence.
- QBCC Workers Licence or willingness to obtain
- Ability to gain Security Clearances and Blue Card.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Familiarity with BMS systems.
- Relocation and housing assistance available.
- 38 hour work week with options for RDO's either fortnightly, monthly or 2 monthly.
- Monday to Friday.
- Great hourly rate negotiated based on experience.
- Work Ute provided with some local personal use available around Townsville.
