SalaryUGL Defence has recently been awarded the contract to manage the Defence fuel related Asset Management, Operations and Maintenance. We are recruiting Electricians with Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas (EEHA) experience to join our Operations & Maintenance team in what is an exciting opportunity to work in the Australia Defence environment, supporting the national security requirements of the Nation.This is an exceptional long-term, operations and maintenance contract, within the defence sector. Work with a Tier 1 services provider, alongside an established crew of experienced technicians.The RoleReporting to a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be based at RAAF Townsville, supporting surrounding locations in the North QLD region, with occasional regional travel. You will be a part of a core crew of UGL technicians. These duties will include, but not limited to;Perform scheduled electrical maintenance and service of fuel installation assets and equipmentDiagnostics and repair in a breakdown environment of fuel related assets and equipmentElectrical Project work as required on the fuel installation and related assets and equipmentSupport subcontracted work packages as requiredSupport various sites in the region, with the occasional requirement to travel throughout North QLD.What you NeedYou will be a strong team player, a self-starter and dedicated employee that will draw on your experience and diverse skills to deliver high quality outcomes for UGL and our customer.
