The Role
🔌⚡ Dyno Nobel is seeking a skilled Electrician to join our Maintenance Team! If you're looking for a bright future in the electrical field & want to be a part of a dynamic team, this role could be the electrifying opportunity you've been waiting for! ⚡🔌
You'll divide your time between our Port Hedland and Kalgoorlie locations, tending to the needs of both plants.

This role will see you work as part of the maintenance team who are focused on maximising equipment and systems availability, whilst achieving minimal unscheduled equipment downtime. You be responsible for ensuring all work complies with the company's HSE policies, procedures, and statutory regulations. Other key responsibilities will include:
- Conduct electrical maintenance tasks within budget and compliance standards.
- Coordinate preventative maintenance around production and breakdown maintenance & collaborate with suppliers to secure electrical parts in a timely manner.
- Manage electrical spare parts inventory and stores, recording maintenance works in SAP.
- Oversee electrical maintenance tasks to completion & supervise contractors when required.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety shutdown system inspection timeframes.
- Install various types of electrical/instrument equipment and fixed wiring. Fault finding and repair of electrical/instrument systems.
- Contribute to failure investigations, plant modification and improvement projects.
What you’ll bring
- PLC & Instrumentation experience
- Trade qualifications as an Electrician
- Solid electrical trade experience within a fixed or mobile plant environment
- Dangerous Goods Security Card, National Police Clearance & Forklift Licence
