Electrician - Mining (Enter The Mines/Relocate To Broken Hill)

Our client, a large reputable and prominent mining company in Broken Hill is seeking Electricians for permanent/full-time positions.
  
These are residential roles; we require the incumbents to be local to Broken Hill/willing to relocate with relocation assistance on offer for the right candidate. The positions will be underground roles on a 7:7 roster with a rotation of day and night shift.

Reporting to the electrical maintenance manager, you will primarily be responsible for performing electrical maintenance on both breakdown and servicing on mobile and fixed plant equipment.

In addition to this you’ll also be required to –
- Undertake planned corrective maintenance tasks
- Act on breakdown maintenance requests
- Provide support to maintain plant and equipment
- Maintain and install/commission new electrical infrastructure

To be successful in this role you must have -

• Electrical licence/trade certificate
• Experience in the Industrial/Mining/Oil and Gas sectors
• Senior first aid certificate (desirable)
• HV Switching experience highly desirable
• Working at Heights and Confined Spaces tickets (desirable)
• Experience working on mobile and/or fixed plant.
