Form of workOur client a mid-tier Mining House is seeking to add an Electrician to its well-trained maintenance department in NSW. Working in a clean, safe, and well-equipped workshop you will repair electrical equipment in an open pit coal mining environment.
This role would suit a career minded individual who seeks the stability of a permanent role with an established Mining House.
Reports to: Maintenance Superintendent
Duties
- Diagnostic and Reactive Repair of Electrical Equipment
- Installs on operational technology systems including CAS (Collision Awareness System), FMS (Fleet Management System), PCN (Process Control Network) and Digital TETRA two-way communications networks.
- General site electrical inc lighting and power
- Work to planned maintenance schedules.
- Ensure health and safety procedures are maintained.
- Electrical Trade Certificate
- PLC Maintenance Skills
- Ability to follow Planned Preventative Maintenance Programme
- NSW Electrical Supervisors Certificate
