OVERVIEW:
ELEKT is looking for an experienced and qualified Electrician to join their team on a full time basis. The successful candidate will be required to possess a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (UEE30820). The company is a growing electrical contractor founded in 2021, after 10 years’ experience in the industry.

JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a full time electrician to join our team, with a large focus on overseeing new architectural home projects for our esteemed clientele in the inner Brisbane suburbs, which is approximately half of our workload. The ideal candidate will excel at meeting high client expectations and delivering clear communication and demonstrate proficiency in independently completing assigned tasks while also possessing the ability to supervise apprentices effectively.
Our remaining work is diverse in nature and includes; ongoing maintenance of a local retirement village and residential jobs in the following areas:
- Home renovations e.g. kitchens, bathrooms, patio lighting and home extensions
- EV chargers
- Smoke alarm installations
- Residential maintenance
- Ceiling fan installations/ replacements
- Powerpoint installations
- Lighting installations
- Switchboard upgrades
- Split AC installations
- Garden lighting installations
- Hot water system upgrades (Electrical component)
The ideal candidate will also posses the following abilities:
- Maintaining and servicing electrical systems, including wiring, lighting and power systems.
- Diagnosing electrical faults as required.
- Performing tests and inspections to ensure systems are working correctly.
- Carrying out repairs as required.
- Installing new electrical systems or replacing existing systems.
- Complying with all Australian standards and regulations when carrying out work.
- Fostering a culture of safety and compliance in the workplace
