The Position
Maali Group has an opening for a motivated and skilled electrician to join our Infrastructure Projects Team working across the Perth Metro area. This role is a fantastic opportunity for an Electrician looking to make the next step in their career and join a values-driven organization prioritizing the upskill and growth of employees. The Infrastructure team has some long-term contracts working with Western Power, Perth Airport, Main Roads, amongst other clients.
Current Project scopes are inclusive of construction, maintenance and commissioning of Main Roads assets, and Network Services on the Western Power Network. This position suits someone who is skilled across all domains of the Electrical trade, but is also a fantastic opportunity for someone to learn from an experienced team.
- Full-time positions starting at $55 per hour plus penalties
- Casual positions starting at $70 per hour
Our Ideal Candidate Is:
- Able to work night shift on occasion
- Able to work as part of a team or autonomously
- Able to take the lead and show initiative
- Motivated to meet pre-Mobilisation requirements quickly e.g. return paperwork, complete online inductions, successfully pass pre-employment medical and drug screen
- Strong work ethic and time management skills
- Hard working committed and safety focused
Essential Requirements:
- Residing in Perth
- Unrestricted WA Electrical Workers Licence
- OHS Construction Induction 'White Card'
- Drivers Licence "C" class
- High Risk Work Licence – EWP
- Working at heights – valid last 2 years
- Must be able to interpret instructions and engineering drawings
Highly Regarded:
- Previous experience with fiber optics cabling
- Previous experience in traffic light and street light installation, maintenance, and fault finding
- Electrical Communications Course
- Experience working around live services
- MR or HR Licence
