LMS Energy is Australia’s largest emissions reducer and the national leader in biogas-to-energy and solar on landfill. LMS requires the services of a full-time or part-time Electrician in Yatala, Queensland.
As part of our team, you will collaborate with the Manager - Construction where your role will primarily involve electrical works on bioenergy facilities across Australia, including new projects deliverables, maintenance works, and manufacturing of assets.

Responsibilities:
- Support the projects construction team to deliver new bioenergy projects, including biogas power stations, industrial solar and other new innovation projects, such as Anaerobic Digesters
- Undertake manufacturing and assembly work of low voltage and extra low voltage assets for projects
- Undertake fault-finding and repair of simple and complex electrical equipment both in the field and in workshop premises
- Uphold the highest level of safety, including but not limited to the undertaking of lock-out/tag-out procedures on equipment as required by LMS policies and procedures
- Coordinate and manage the use of electrical sub-contractors on site
- Conduct testing of electrical installations and maintain electrical documentation as part of good quality control
- Provide assistance/advice to colleagues regarding equipment functionality and other tasks as directed by the Manager or Supervisor
- Troubleshoot electrical issues
Requirements:
- Recognised electrical trade qualifications - Electrical (unrestricted)
- 5+ years' experience as a qualified industrial Electrician
- Interstate travel will be required
- Sound knowledge of electrical safety and installation rules, regulations and applicable standards
- Attention to detail, advanced problem solving and time management skills
- Australian Drivers Licence
