Echo Marine Group is an Australian owned and operated company with over 10 years experience in the Marine Industry. We specialize in the manufacture of Luxury Superyachts, Commercial Workboats, and Refits and Maintenance on a range of vessels in the Superyacht, Workboat and Defence areas.
This role requires an immediate start.
We are seeking an individual that is self-driven and capable of trouble-shooting tools and equipment.
The successful candidate will work on a variety of equipment requiring electrical repairs, perform periodical test and tagging and be able to switch from maintenance role to join the electrical team onboard the vessel for newbuilds and refit jobs.
- Power tools (drills, angle grinders etc)
- Drill press, air compressor, guillotine
- Day to day yard maintenance (CCTV system, lighting etc)
- Welding machines (Not Essential)
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants need to demonstrate the following experience and requirements:
- Hold an Electrical Workers License
- Experience in equipment repairs and routine maintenance
- Self-motivated and able to work autonomously.
- Reliable, with strong work ethics and an eye for detail and quality workmanship
- Excellent problem solving capabilities
- Able to work in a team environment
- Understanding of Marine Electrical installations (Not Essential)
