MAK Industrial Water Solutions is a national water & waste water treatment specialist. MAK Water designs & manufactures a wide range of water treatment plants at its Perth workshop, and supports its customers with a network of service teams across Australia.
We are an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of water treatment plants, with a wide range of technologies, and a strong future order book for plants to be installed in Australia and overseas.
THE ROLE
MAK Water currently have a vacancy for a qualified Electrician, building quality Water Treatment Plants for MAK Water's clients using a range of processes, tools and expertise. The role will be within a team of electricians and apprentices reporting to the Electrical Supervisor. Based at our Malaga Workshop, the principle focus of this role is to:
- Carry out electrical installation works to Water Treatment Plants
- Work closely with the Workshop and Engineering Teams to increase productivity and reduce downtime on projects
- Test and commission of plants and equipment at the Malaga Workshop and client sites
- Mentor and oversee electrical apprentices
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
The successful applicant will:
- Hold a valid WA A Grade Electrical License, required
- Hold a current and valid Australian Driver's Licence, required
- Hold or have the ability to obtain LVR and CPR training certification
- Have a minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar field; industrial installation favourable
- Be familiar with AS/NZ3000 standards
- Be proficient with Computer/iPads
- Demonstrate excellent problem solving capabilities
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Have the ability to follow general arrangements and electrical schematics
