About the position
As a vital member of Toowoomba Regional Council Water & Waste Services Group, you will contribute to the essential mission of providing clean and reliable drinking water to the community.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Work on High Voltage (HV) infrastructure, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our water and sewer networks.
- Performing instrumentation works, contributing to the precision and accuracy of our control systems.
- Utilising your expertise in fault finding for complex industrial control systems.
- Engaging in radio and telemetry works, ensuring reliable communication across our SCADA network.
- Managing Remote Terminal Units (RTUs) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to optimise system performance.
- Construction Allowance
- Combined Electrical Allowance
- Tool Allowance
- Critical worker allowance **This allowance is conditional and will be discussed further during interviews.
In addition to the hourly wage rate, the following benefits apply to this position:
- On call allowance
- Overtime rates
- Live Sewer allowance
- 12.65% superannuation
- 17.5% annual leave loading
- A Council vehicle will be provided for commuter work use to successful candidates who live within the Toowoomba Region.
