As a result of continuous national growth, LAI Group are seeking multiple qualified electricians to join our team at our manufacturing plant in Adelaide (Ferryden park) with our Switchroom department. Schedule
- Full-time position.
- A 38-hour week (Monday – Friday + reasonable overtime).
- Wage (Negotiable - Experience, knowledge, and ability will be taken into consideration).
The Position
The qualified electricians will be overseeing and conducting first fix and second fix electrical works in a safe and controlled environment. The appropriate candidate will be working on a variety of projects for different industries, as well as partaking in certain electrical testing requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine layout of system components, framework, and foundations.
- Component in conducting first and second fix electrical with little to no supervision.
- Cable containment installation (i.e., tray and basket).
- Electrical testing of Switchrooms before F.A.T.
- Installation and connectivity of switching gear into a Switchroom.
The Candidate
The appropriate candidate for this position must have the following:
- Electrical Class A licence.
- Experience with first and second fix electrical.
The successful applicant will preferably have:
- Worked in a team environment previously.
- Strong communication skills.
- Troubleshooting
- Experience with using general hand tools.
- The ability to achieve a quality standard of work and strive for continuous improvement.
