The Company
This asset management company is located on the out skits of Adelaide CBD, and has been in operation for over 20 years. They are a leader in engineering services who design, build, install and maintain condition monitoring, control and automation systems for multiple sectors across the globe. Due to growth they are looking for experienced Electromechanical Engineer who is motivated, looking for an interesting role and passionate about what they do.
The Position
Reporting the the Engineering Manager, your role will be provide professional engineering support, technical assistance and electromechanical design to the organisation. As the Electromechanical Engineer you will be liaising with clients and Project Managers, scoping project and product requirements and suggest or identify potential improvements. You will have the expertise to use your breadth of experience to designing purpose built solutions, identify, test and implement new or alternative technologies and assist to drive the continuous improvement of new and existing products. You will be key in support to the Project Managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and budget and assisting the Support/Custom Managers to provide technical assistance.
Qualification, Experience and Requirements
Tertiary or Trade qualifications as Electromechanical Engineer or relevant
Industry experience working with electromechanical and software systems
Experience working with SolidWorks, AutoCAD or Altium ideal
Competency in SQL, Java, C, MATLAB, Python advantageous
Able to build rapport and communicate effectively with customers
Negotiation and stakeholder management skills advantageous
Be re/located in Adelaide with Australian working rights
