The Role: We are looking for a full time service technician to join our dynamic team in Welshpool. You will be fault finding, repairing and servicing welders, generators and related machinery.
Responsibilities and Duties: You will need to be familiar with equipment such as generators, engine driven welders and welders, reading schematics and diagnosing systems, welder and generator fault finding, testing and tagging machinery, customer service, fault finding and trouble shooting ensuring all faults are fixed and quickly resolved, attending breakdowns and performing service work in line with company procedures to ensure each piece of equipment is fit for use, completing scheduled services to ensure customer requirements and service agreements are upheld and to ensure the safety of the customers equipment, daily workload management ensuring that all customers are attended to promptly, deliver a professional level of service at all times, maintain an accurate service diary/timesheet record of work performed, basic welding experience and mechanical knowledge is an advantage.
Qualification and Skills: Manual C class licence, minimum qualification certificate 3, 3+ years experience, welding or diesel repair background preferred.
