IECC Infinity Electrical, FIre and Communications (ABN: 25163862020) are a leading provider of electrical, fire and communications solutions. We are looking for an experience Electronic Instrument Traders Work to join our professional team.

We specialise in the fields of HV and LV electrical, telecommunications, emergency and evacuation lighting systems, fire detection and fire suppression systems.

We are looking for an experienced Electronic Instrument Trades Worker on a permanent and full-time basis. You will report to the Managing Director. You will be required to work across both phases of our 2 division system, bridging the phase between new projects and maintenance. 

Who You Are

The ideal candidate will: 

  • Be reliable, punctual, professional and be a strong communicator who is confident to explain complex technical electrical concepts and operations to customers and users 
  • Be a collaborative team member who shows initiative and/or can work autonomously when required 
  • Be able to demonstrate competence in installing, maintaining, repairing and replacing electronics and electrical solutions including fire and security systems in a range of settings including residential and commercial 
  • Comprehensively report to the Managing Director and adhere to all safety proceeders and standards at all times 
  • Be located in the Sydney area 

What You’ll Know 

Successful candidate will have demonstrable knowledge and experience in the following areas: 

  • Division 1: New Projects 
    • You will be able to examine electrical problems or plans, diagnosing or recommending cutting edge electrical solutions including equipment, instruments and/or control systems 
    • You will be able to install electrical equipment and instruments and explain to customers correct operating procedures and general maintenance including service timetables 
    • You will be confident in cabling and wiring, and will be accurately able to read and draw plans to implement safe and efficient electrical systems 
  • Division 2: Maintenance 
    • You will be able to assess electrical faults and/or identify faulty electronica and repair/replace defective parts or systems 
    • You will be able to diagnose energy inefficient systems and recommend/install adjustments or new electrical solutions to increase energy efficiency 
    • You will be able to provide ongoing training to the customer on the operation of electronics and electrical systems

  • A competitive salary of $80,000 - $90,000 p.a depending on the candidate
