Job description

What you'll be doing…

You will complete a Certificate III Electronics & Communications over 48 months through a combination of formal training with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and practical on-the-job experience. 

Throughout your formal training and practical experience in the workplace, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Provide assistance to service technicians in installing and maintenance of Austech Products
  • Assist in the installation of equipment in accordance with customer specifications and requirements
  • Carry out general electrical duties
  • Assist with routine maintenance of customers systems and respond to emergency breakdowns
  • Work with qualified tradespersons in a workshop environment and on customer sites
  • Carry out other electrical duties that are within the limits of apprentice skills, competence and ability as required by Ampcontrol

What you’ll bring to the table…

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to meet the following selection criteria:

  • Have currently completed at least your 2nd year of an electrical apprenticeship
  • A demonstrated interest and passion for the Electrical trade
  • Proven ability to work within a team environment
  • A strong eagerness to learn and develop skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • A high level of safety awareness
  • A trustworthy and reliable work ethic
  • P1 Provisional Licence
