Taking on Silicon Valley from Scoresby, our client is a true innovator and leader in the creation and commercialisation of fully-autonomous vehicles, seeking experienced Electrical Technician to join their growing operations. Founded in 2015 by a team seeking to improve global transport solutions, our client combines heritage in automotive innovation with software development and deep robotics capability. They are leaders in the creation of fully-autonomous multi use vehicles for autonomous delivery.
Duties will be:
- Perform hands on work in the electrical, electronic, wiring & interconnect systems of the skateboard multi use vehicles for autonomous delivery.
- To actively work in the assembly, design, development and manufacture of the electric mobility
control and interface systems. - Assist in the development of our software driven electric vehicles
- Work with the engineering and build teams to supply, develop and maintain autonomous electric vehicles.
- A recognised diploma, degree or Associate Diploma in Electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation, or
similar experience would be desirable. - Previous experience in this field would be an advantage
- Knowledge in electrical and electronic unit wiring and device assembly.
- An understanding of electrical wiring and best practices for electric vehicle systems including
battery management, motor drivers, electronic control units [ECUs], cabling for signal and power,
communications via Ethernet or CAN Bus. - Strong problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in electronics, electrical wiring & interconnectivity of integrated
systems - Ability for continuous development, high quality builds and engage
with third parties. - Knowledge of automotive connectors, sealing and assembly methods.

In return for your skills and experience the company is offering great hours,
Start between 7.30 – 9.00, finish between 4.30 – 6.00. Salary 75K to 80K per annum. The company also has an on-site barista & provide a free lunch everyday.
