About the role: Electrophysiology Technician

Join a dynamic team supporting a wide spectrum of cardiology and vascular procedures across four advanced catheter labs.
Key responsibilities
- Operate with Precision: Utilize and maintain the physiological monitoring system to the highest standards, ensuring seamless functionality within the Angiography Suite.
- Haemodynamic Expertise: Undertake comprehensive haemodynamic monitoring for cardiology procedures, aiming to provide a scientific service across all aspects of cardiac electrophysiologic practices and procedures.
- Data Interpretation: Employ your skills in interpreting ECGs and cardiac pressures, contributing valuable insights to enhance procedural outcomes.
- Measurements Mastery: Take charge of measuring cardiac outputs and oxygen saturation, ensuring accurate and reliable data for informed decision making.
- Stock Maintenance: Ensure the meticulous upkeep of Electrophysiology (EP) stock levels, playing a crucial role in the smooth operation of the suite.
- Versatile Contributions: Perform additional duties within the scope of your training and qualifications, directed by the manager, showcasing your adaptability and expertise.

Key Qualifications:
- Educational Excellence: Possess a Bachelor's degree in Science or Applied Science, laying the foundation for your expertise in the field.
- ECG Mastery: Showcase advanced knowledge in ECG recording and interpretation, demonstrating your proficiency in this critical aspect of the role.
- Haemodynamic Expertise: Bring valuable experience in all facets of haemodynamic monitoring, contributing to the comprehensive care provided in our medical environment.
- Team Collaboration: Prove your ability to thrive both in a team environment and independently when required, showcasing your versality in diverse work settings.
- Tech Savvy: Exhibit a high level of computer literacy, ensuring you are adept at leveraging technology to enhance your contributions to the role.
Highly regarded Credentials:
- International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE) or Cardiac Electrophysiology Institute of Australasia (CEPIA) qualifications
- Specialised Experience: Prior experience in electrophysiological studies
