Email Marketing Specialist

The Role
The Email Marketing Specialist will oversee the Email Marketing campaigns and automated journeys for all Shiels Group brands, ensuring alignment with brand identities while targeting specific customer segments and interests. In this role you'll be responsible for end-to-end campaign execution, leveraging data-driven insights to optimise performance, meet KPIs, drive engagement and report to key stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively alongside the Campaign and Digital Marketing teams to develop and execute Email Marketing programs across the portfolio of brands.
- Lead the end-to-end process of email campaign execution, ensuring timely deployment and alignment with brand strategies.
- Utilise comprehensive data analysis to define, construct, and manage customer segments across each brand based on previous behavioural/shopping patterns.
- Develop, manage and optimise customer lifecycle & automation programs to deliver on the objectives for each brand.
- Conduct A/B testing strategies for insight and learnings on subject lines, email content, and call-to-action buttons to optimize engagement and conversion rates.
- Research and share industry trends and competitor activities and implement insights to drive continuous improvement.
- Set measurable goals for campaigns, track ROI, analyse campaign performance, and present regular reports outlining necessary adjustments to optimise the Email Marketing strategy.
- Keep up to date with and drive best practice recommendations for Email Marketing and personalisation.
About You
- At least 2 years’ experience in similar role that focuses on or incorporates Email Marketing.
- Degree-Level qualification, in Marketing or Marketing-related discipline (or similar).
- Hands-on experience with a Marketing CRM platform.
- Experience with interpreting email analytics and reporting.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Copywriting experience with the ability to understand and channel the brand’s tone of voice.
- Impeccable spelling, grammar and English language skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure to set timelines.
- A highly organised and motivated individual who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is eager to succeed.
