The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists within Access and Flow Unit to join us as Emergency Management Coordinator (ASO8) on an ongoing, full-time basis.
Role Responsibilities:
- Developing, reviewing, managing and monitoring of all aspects of the WCHN Emergency Management program including business continuity planning.
- Managing and overseeing the coordination of training and education programs for staff involved in emergency responses (including fire and security management) and business continuity.
- Managing and overseeing testing and evaluation of procedures, plans and responses in line with statutory and accreditation requirements.
- Actively leading critical incident/emergency responses.
- Representing WCHN on State-wide Emergency and Business Continuity Groups.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work under broad direction, exercise significant levels of independent judgement and delegated authority to determine goals and priorities.
- Extensive experience in using contemporary project management principles in leading, developing and managing concurrent emergency response projects/programs.
- Detailed knowledge of best practice in relation to emergency / disaster management principles.
