Having expanded with contracts and across multiple states, fresh opportunities have become available within AMR for Paramedics / Nurses / Emergency Medical Technicians andPatient Transport Officers to work across a variety of disciplines including High Acuity Patient Transport, Event Medical Services, Austere and Remote locations and Aeromedical transports.

As a result of several new key contracts, growing work demands and increasing client requests, AMR is seeking suitably qualified personnel to work across a range of service delivery platforms.

Essential Skills and Attributes :
- Team player and self-directed individual
- Strong customer/stakeholder service orientation
- Demonstrated ability to work as a team member across varied shifts and a diverse workload
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Ability to work a rotating roster - varied shifts including day / afternoon / night / weekend and public holiday shifts
- Effective communication skills when dealing with stakeholders, patients, allied healthcare professionals and internal personnel
- Able to work reasonable additional hours if required
- A willingness to learn, an ability to follow direction and achieve key milestones
Registered Paramedics
- Bachelor of Paramedicine or equivalent
- Registered or eligible for registration with AHPRA
Nurses
- Diploma/Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
- Registered or eligible for registration with AHPRA
Patient Transport Officers
- Minimum Certificate III in Non-Emergency Patient Transport (HLT31115) or equivalent.
- Completion of HLTAMB014 ‘Transport Non-Emergency Patients under Operational Conditions’ unit (or equivalent) from the National Health Training Package.
Emergency Medical Technicians
- Minimum Certificate IV Health Care (HLT41115) or equivalent.
- Completion of HLTAMB014 ‘Transport Non-Emergency Patients under Operational Conditions’ unit (or equivalent) from the National Health Training Package.

- Qualifications & Certificates (AHPRA Registration if applicable)

- Evidence of current and updated vaccinations, including but not limited to Hep B, Influenza, MMR, Whooping Cough (Pertussis), Chickenpox (Varicella) and double COVID 19 vaccination.
- Current National Police Check (< 6 months)
- Current Working with Children Paid Employment Check
If successful, all applicants will also be required to complete the following pre-employment checks (at the cost of the employer):
- Pre-Employment Medical Check and
- Drug and Alcohol testing
AMR is also a well established RTO providing training in a wide range of health orientated fields, such as CPR and First Aid, Non Emergency Patient Transport, through to Diploma of Emergency Health Care. Opportunities are available to expand your skills through our various accredited programs.
