There are two hospitals in the region servicing a population of approximately 116,000. The Emergency Departments have approximately 30,000 presentations annually and treat a broad range of patients. The NWRH Emergency Department has an annual attendance rate of 28,000 patients per year with 28% admission rate. The Department treats a broad range of patients including major trauma cases.
