About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an Employee Relations Officer to provide maternity leave coverage for a fixed term period of 24 months.
Working from our Fassifern based corporate office, this full-time role provides an excellent opportunity for an organised and experienced Human Resources professional to work with the Centennial Corporate Services team.
Role description
Reporting activities for absenteeism, probationary reviews, injury and illness and study assistance
Manage and monitor pre-employment and periodical medicals in line with Order 43 requirements, including compliance and surveillance
Coordinate probation review activities with individual sites
Assist with Workers Compensation activities, including responding to correspondence and subpoenas, managing Return to Work assessments and long-term illness monitoring
Oversee Study Assistance applications
Assist with Industrial Relations activities, including investigations, reports and correspondence

Suitable candidates will have
Diploma level or higher Human Resources qualifications
Experience working in a similar HR based role
Exceptional attention to detail
Excellent computer proficiency, including the MS Office suite
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
An organised and reliable work ethic
Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in the workplace
Ability to build good internal relationships with key stakeholders
Previous experience in the mining industry may be advantageous
