Our Employment Services team are on the lookout for a highly motivated individual to come onboard as a full-time Employment Consultant within our Warrawong office. The role will see you establish relationships with prospective employers, community organisations and stakeholders to negotiate employment opportunities for people with disability. This is a very rewarding opportunity for someone who is energetic, enthusiastic and customer focused to ensure they build rapport and meaningful relationships with clients. Whilst maintaining a strong outcome focus, you will be responsible for:
- Providing a range of interpersonal services including advice and support to enable our clients to overcome barriers to employment opportunities
- Assisting in the development, implementation and evaluation of continuous improvement
- Supporting your team to achieve their goals by building strategic employer relationships
- Negotiate an individual Employment Plan which details strategies to assist the client meet their employment goals
- Maintaining up-to-date job seeker records which are in accordance with The Disability Trust policies and procedures
The successful candidate will have:
- Demonstrated experience in administration and confidence using Microsoft Suite
- An outcome focused attitude to all tasks
- Experience using a person-centred approach to drive and deliver outcomes for people with a disability
- Flexibility to ensure the delivery of strategies tailored to individual goals
- A natural communication style with attentive listening skills
- Collaboration skills and willingness to work within a team
- Exceptional attention to detail

The base salary for the role is between $67,000 and $72,000 based upon qualifications and experience plus superannuation.
