We are currently seeking an experienced Associate with a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in the employment law area to be a key member of our busy and successful Employment Team.
This role provides the right person with the opportunity to continue to advance their career in employment law in an established practice, working for great clients and within a collaborative team.
You will work in a team who are strongly bonded by their individual talents, cohesiveness and drive to deliver an exceptional service to their clients.
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you must have the ability to:-
- Hit the ground running with employment matters
- Prepare court documents including pleadings and submissions
- Prepare evidence
- Be an effective advocate, including appearing in courts and tribunals, representing clients and negotiate effectively with other solicitors
- Interpret contracts and draft deeds of settlement and release
- Undertake research at an efficient pace and with an analytical mind
- Work across multiple industries
- Communicate exceptionally well and build relationships
- Effectively scope matters including preparing costs proposals
- Manage client demands and expectations in an empathetic manner
- Work well under pressure and with conflicting priorities
- Have a proactive approach to project management of your matters
