Job description


Daylesford Health has multiple positions available for Nursing staff to join our experienced team at the Acute Unit.

Our facility provides care for sub-acute patients and operates a 24/7 Nurse-led Urgent Care Centre. With 12 Acute beds, 3 Dialysis Chairs, and a soon-to-be-renovated Theatre, Daylesford Health offers a dynamic healthcare environment.

We have 0.8 EFT (8 shifts per forntight) between Registered Nurses and Endorsed Enrolled Nurses.

The After Hours Campus Coordinator (AHC) will assist the Executive and Nurse Managers in delivering and upholding quality care within CHRH. This involves proficient application of clinical and business practices, efficient communication, and engaged participation. As a highly motivated leader, the AHC will bear responsibility for ensuring the safety of patients, visitors, and staff members.

Registered Nurses and Endorsed Enrolled Nurses are valued member of our Acute Services team at Central Highlands Rural Health - Daylesford Campus. Our professional, supportive, and committed team is dedicated to providing high-quality care to patients and their families across a range of specialties, including general medical, palliative care, day infusions, dialysis, Transitional Care Program, and an Urgent Care Centre.

Registered Nurses are an integral member of the multidisciplinary healthcare team, responsible for ensuring that clinical practice and delivery across a range of contexts promotes the patient holistic wellbeing and utilises a person centred care model. They must be committted to inspire a culture of continuous improvement.

Endorsed Enrolled Nurses will be working under the direction of the registered nurse and collaborate with the team, foucsing on patient centred-care. They will require to have sound clinical and assessment skills and commited to contributing to our positive team environment.

Central Highlands Rural Health (CHRH) is a rural health organisation that operates five campuses across Hepburn Shire and the Macedon Ranges in the Central Highlands of Victoria in Australia, north and north-west of Melbourne. It was formed through the voluntary amalgamation of Hepburn Health Service and Kyneton District Health on the 30th November 2019.  Each of our campuses retains the name of the township in which they are situated - Clunes Health, Creswick Health, Daylesford Health, Kyneton Health, and Trentham Health.
