  • Salary $90,749 to $107,911 plus 15.4% superannuation

The team 

The Digital, Data & Technology (DD&T) group delivers transformational change and key technology-related operational services across ASIC. The DD&T group includes Information Technology, Cyber Security, Data, Digital, EPPO (Enterprise Planning Performance Office) and Registry Connect (modernising ASIC's Business Registers).

This team provides ASIC with a wide range of development and support services. We are undertaking major projects to continue our significant business transformation in several areas, such as data and analytics, cloud, mobility and application modernisation. We use the latest technology with an increased focus on data sharing and analytics, making ASIC a best-in-class regulator supporting the Australian Financial Markets.

The role

The purpose of this role will be to provide face-to-face second-level support in the ASIC site offices for user's IT needs, as well as remote support for users working from home or interstate. As part of the team, you will be asked to contribute to national IT projects, level three support assistance, and continually upskill your IT knowledge for career progression. This position is primarily located in ASIC offices and is an on-premises role.

About you

We are looking for someone with experience in a technical support role, supporting large numbers of remote and face-to-face users.  You will be great at providing guidance and support to business users, troubleshooting issues, and delivering services within SLA timeframes.

You will need the ability to effectively utilise Ivanti or similar IT Service Management tools, along with Microsoft Active Directory.

Your ability to approach technical issues in a logical and common-sense manner and your communication and stakeholder engagement skills will be critical to success in this role.
