LaTrobe Private Hospital is looking for Enrolled Nurses to join our Surgical ward team in 2024. In this fast paced and varied environment where you will bring your experience and take pride in your work, have a friendly and positive work attitude and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

We are proud to announce that a major redevelopment and expansion of clinical services at Latrobe Private Hospital is well underway, planned to open in February 2024 helping us meet the growing healthcare needs of the Northern suburbs communities.

With an emphasis on expanding accessible clinical services for patients, investing in state of the art operating theatres with a focus on orthopaedics and offering new career and professional development opportunities for existing and prospective staff, this is an exciting time for our hospital.

As an Enrolled Nurse, your responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care to individuals/groups under the direction and supervision (either indirect or direct) of the RN
  • Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
  • Act as a role model for Safe Practice
  • Administer medications according to state law and organisation policy
  • Have demonstrated ongoing commitment to professional development

Essential Criteria:

  • Current Registration (no restrictions) with AHPRA
  • Previous experience working as an Enrolled Nurse in a Hospital environment is essential
  • Ability to work a rotational 24/7 roster including nights and weekends
  • Commitment to Quality Patient Care
  • Demonstrated time management & organisational skills with the ability to meet objectives/timelines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skill

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the "Healthscope Victoria - Nurses' and Midwives' Enterprise Agreement 2021-2025" (salaries range between $33.30 to $35.40 per hour).
