Glenelg Community Hospital is looking for an Endoscopy / CSSD Technician to join our team.
About The Role
- This role will report to the Clinical Manager and work closely with an efficient professional team.
- Seeking those trained and working clinically as an Endoscopy and CSSD Technician.
- Understanding of the 5369 Standards and GENCA guidelines
- Instrumentation knowledge and demonstrated ability to assemble instrument trays correctly.
- Understanding of decontamination and disinfection processes, packing and sterilisation.
- Complete documentation in accordance with established policies and procedures and Industry Standards; monitor compliance and report non-conformances using appropriate method.
- Ability to apply Infection Control and Work Health and Safety standards.
- Participate with daily controls, testing, monitoring and validation requirements.
- Good interpersonal skills within a team environment.
About You
- Must hold a Certificate III in Sterilising and have worked in both CSSD and Endoscopy reprocessing.
- Have the ability to work on your own initiative and identify any areas for improvement that may be needed.
- Be available to work across a variety of morning and afternoon shifts Monday - Friday.
- Current Working with Children Check, National Police Clearance and up to date with Immunisations is required.
