The Energy Transition allows us to move away from CO2-emitting fossil fuels towards energy supplied from clean and green sources. Through decarbonization, the Energy Transition will create a cleaner, healthier, and more affordable future for everyone. DLL's Energy Transition strategy aims to play a leading role in the financing of clean energy assets that produce or consume clean energy.

The Energy TransitionAccount Manager is a new energizing and essential role within DLL. As the Account Manager for Energy Transition ("ET"), you will help to contribute to the transformation of society and industry to achieve a more productive, sustainable future. You will be responsible for initiating, developing, and maintaining commercial contacts, identifying and pursuing new prospects and sales activity support in our vendor, direct, GBU (Global Business Units), e-mobility and Rabobank origination channels in ANZ. You will contribute to expanding exciting new initiatives, and towards implementation of the strategy within the Energy Transition team.

The global ambition for DLL is to achieve €2 billion of new business volume in ET assets by 2028. We intend to drive growth of ET annual new business volume from €30 million to €160 million over the next four years in ANZ. The ET Account Manager role is integral to achieving those ambitions.

Day to day:

• Analyse the ET commercial market to identify and target opportunities within the boundaries of DLL's overall ET strategy and align this with the country sales plan.
• Identify, act on, and actively pursue sales opportunities. Receive and manage quote requests and ensure follow-up of opportunities within DLL sales organisation.
• Develop and get approval on partner, vendor, direct, GBU, e-mobility and Rabobank opportunities. Proactively manage opportunities and relationships, liaising with all relevant stakeholders.
• Manage business relationships with local stakeholders throughout the relationship lifecycle and on a country level, conducting regular meetings with customers and counterparts in DLL.
• Work closely with the team members within DLL that are responsible for ET activities to build productive relationships, align ET strategies and activities, and generate ET new business volume.
• Develop and use financial products, structures, and services necessary to support the acceleration and growth of the Energy Transition business for end user customers and our partners in targeted markets to meet the current and future needs of our customers and balance the interests of all stakeholders involved. Expand existing products, including pay per use initiatives to new customers and asset classes.
• Represent ET and DLL to external stakeholders (i.e. customers and prospective customers) in line with business needs and external developments. Work closely with ET strategic marketing and marcom to develop ET marketing communications.

Essentials:

• Deep understanding and commercial experience in financing clean and green energy assets is a pre-requisite.
• Energized, persistent and resilient to deliver best in class business performance.
• Passionate about the business of our customers as well as our own (eager to deliver win-win)
• Able to maintain a positive attitude to get things done while working to demanding targets. Sees opportunities and challenges where others see roadblocks.
• Innovative and continuously looking for commercial business opportunities.
• Relevant commercial experience in the asset finance industry, experience in energy efficiency, energy production and energy infrastructure assets is highly regarded.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a "virtual team" across geographies and disciplines within the matrix environment.
• Broad business knowledge across different types of products, structures, markets and asset types.
• Strong understanding of business drivers and strong business development skills.
• Experience in managing complicated sales processes and negotiating legal documentation including operating / program agreements.
• Strong influencing, collaborating and negotiation skills.
• Confident building and maintaining internal and external networks and relationships.
• Confident and engaging presentation style.
• Excellent communication skills, fluent in English.
