- Develop strategic mine plans of life of asset horizon
- Provide guidance to the Mid Term 10Yr Plan horizon
- Utilise pit optimisation software in conjunction with economic information to produce optimised pit shells with desirable return on investment
- Develop detailed mining strategies that enable effective mine planning through staging and mining access concepts
- Develop and communicate insights that guide data driven action
- Identify safety, value and continuous improvement by design
- Define and structure business problems to understand root cause and implement effective countermeasures in a planned and structured way
- Identify, engage and manage a range of diverse internal and external stakeholders
- Plan, track the delivery of and manage a project to generate value and drive the achievement of project outcomes
- Know our customer and meets their needs
- Strive to achieve 100% safety, 100% customer value and 0% waste
- Engage the capabilities of the entire organisation
- Contribute to reserve reporting process
About YouWe have a strong focus on finding people with the right values, leadership capability, and communication skills. - Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering, other related disciplines such as Engineering and Geoscience
- Resource industry and mine site-based experience
- Experience in process and supply chain optimisation
- Capability with mining CAD software package, such as Datamine, Vulcan, Deswik
- Capability with mine planning and/or scheduling software
